Hypothesis: Black oiled sunflower seeds will be eaten by the greatest number of birds.
Materials Used: Three platform feeders, black-oiled sunflower seeds, thistle, corn, 1 cup measuring cup, plastic bags
Experimental Design: 1. Three feeders were placed at the edge of the playground. 2. Feeders were designated by food: sunflower, thistle and corn. 3. Feeders were filled with 3 cups of food at 10:00 each morning. 4. Food was gathered at 2:00 and measured. 5. Data was recorded. 6. Experiment was continued for 10 days.
Constant Variables: Type of feeders, location of feeders

Food used: Black-oiled sunflower seeds, thistle, corn
Amount of black sunflower seed consumed: 15.75
