Potatoes were collected from various growers in southeast Idaho as well as from locations around the United States.  All samples were analyzed for gamma emitting radionuclides and ⁹⁰Sr.

No potato sample collected during the fourth quarter contained levels of ⁹⁰Sr or ¹³⁷Cs above its respective 2s level.  Naturally occurring ⁴⁰K was detected in all samples.  All data for ¹³⁷Cs in potato samples are shown in Table C-11 of Appendix C.  All data for ⁹⁰Sr in potato samples are shown in Table C-12.
