A day-long symposium will be offered addressing the issue of conifer encroachment into historic shrub and aspen communities and how these subtle changes have affected wildlife habitat, livestock grazing, and watershed values. Researchers, specialists, and managers with extensive experience have been invited to share their knowledge in the management of these valuable resources.

The Symposium will be followed by an evening Banquet.

The Idaho SRM Business meeting will be Friday morning, January 7, 9-12 am.
