ESER provides a curriculum and classroom instruction on the Global Position System (GPS) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
In this curriculum the student will :
  • Learn what GPS is and how it works.
  • Receive training and hands-on experiences in using GPS in the field.
  • Receive training and hands-on experience in the display and editing of a map using GIS technology.

The curriculum is focused on Trimble GeoExplorer 3 GPS units.  These units may be available for classroom instruction.

This curriculum provides an excellent resource for training students to compete in the GPS/GIS Competition.
